This policy applies to the Dietium website, as well as our mobile applications, including Pique, Recipians, and Dash. Because our apps serve different purposes, the data they collect varies significantly. By using any Dietium service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect: App-Specific Breakdown
To ensure full transparency, we have categorized the data we collect based on the specific Dietium app or service you are using.
a. General Account Information (Applies to all Dietium services)
When you create a Dietium account, we collect fundamental information to manage your profile:

- Basic demographic data (if provided).
- Payment and subscription information (processed securely via third-party providers; we do not store full credit card numbers).
b. Pique App (Caffeine & Sugar Tracker)
Pique is designed with a “privacy-first” architecture. We believe your daily consumption habits belong to you.
- Locally Stored Data: The vast majority of your data, including your daily logs of caffeine and sugar intake, is stored entirely locally on your device. We do not upload or have access to your daily tracking logs.
- Uploaded Data: The only information Pique uploads to our servers are your core user settings required to maintain your profile. This is strictly limited to your inputted weight and caffeine sensitivity levels.
C. Recipians App (Meal Planning & Recipe Search)
To provide a highly personalized meal planning and recipe discovery experience, Recipians requires more comprehensive data collection. When using Recipians, we collect:
- Dietary Data: Your specific dietary preferences, nutritional goals, allergies, and intolerances.
- Engagement Data: Your saved recipes, generated meal plans, search history within the app, and grocery list items.
- User-Generated Content: Any images, recipe reviews, or custom recipes you choose to upload to the platform.
D. Dash App (Salt & Sugar Tracker)
When you use Dash to monitor your dietary intake, we collect your nutritional goals and daily logged metrics regarding sodium and sugar consumption to generate progress reports and insights.
E. Dietium Website (Calculators & Articles)
When you use the Dietium website:
- Calculator Inputs: Information entered into our health and fitness calculators (such as height, weight, age, and activity level) is processed to provide you with immediate results.
- Usage Data: We collect standard analytical data, including pages visited, time spent reading articles, browser type, and IP address to improve site functionality.
f. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
- We use cookies to improve your experience, remember your preferences, and analyze website traffic.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data collected across our ecosystem to:

7. User-Generated Content and Ownership
This doesn’t apply to your personal Information such as profile picture or account details. But when you upload recipes, images, or other content to Dietium, you grant us full ownership of this content. You agree that any material you submit becomes the property of Dietium, and you waive any claims of copyright over the content. We may use, modify, or distribute this content for any purpose.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians may contact us to remove any personal data relating to their children.

Currently, we do not transfer personal data outside the country where it was collected. Should this change, we will ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including implementing appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
